It's been a while since I've written anything here. I've made it a resolution to do more artwork. I work so slowly and I think that this is more a crutch for my insecurities or even pure laziness than my actual work process.

I want to be a better DeviantArt community member. I'm introverted so this is difficult for me, even when it's just me and my computer screen. I'm working on it!

Just recently, I heard about the concept of "speed painting". It seems to me that the artist tries to work as fast as he can without really obsessing over the details and at the end of an hour or two he has a nice spontaneous piece!

This would be good for me. You'll probably be seeing a lot more "sketchy" thinks from me. Has anyone ever done this before? Or know of a site that explains this concept in better detail?
